I am aware that some legislation exist for newer conversions but can not find anything about the need for the landlord to provide adequate soundproofing in older ones.
Landlord being L&Q - if it makes any difference.
Paper thin walls and no soundproofing whatsoever.
Short of having to do it myself - are there any regulations that would force landlord to do something/anything?
Any pointers?
Thanks a lot

If the property was built before 2011, there is nothing you can do. You should just bite the bullet and sound-proof it yourself. I've helped some friends do it. If its done properly you can't hear a thing.
