The biggest irony here is, I think, the concept of any 'safe' areas in London at the moment. I am pretty sure some of the 'smug tweets' were sent from areas where trouble has since erupted.

Glad to see that Hari Kunzu in today's Guardian was as discomfitted as I about the rash of smug tweets doing teh rounds earlier in the week.
