Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sinkhole in Finsbury Park!

Near the Seven Sisters Road entrance. There’s been a drainage issue around that area for a while so I guess the recent storms have washed out the soil under the road. It’s about 3m wide by 2m deep, contractors have already started filling it in.

Storms, regular flooding, but also the weight of articulated lorries used in festival set up probably also a  factor. It appeared last Friday night/Saturday morning. 

Tris - is that water or concrete at the bottom?

Also I hope they fix the underlying drainage problems too rather than just in-filling the hole!

I rode past before. No sign of any drainage works, they've concreted the bottom and there was a bloke with a digger topping it up with hard fill.
