Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington. #noonethere...
Ha ha

We all showed up for Trump when it mattered -- at the polls on 8 November. Sorry that you don't like Trump news, so hold on to your seat for 8 years as the media will do everything it can to take him out. I remember this well from Reagan's and Bush 43's time.

Irreverence is seen as a positive in this case, your right there won't be a honeymoon period.

Ha. Shame. You backed a loser. Murray lost to some unknown player.

Trump won easily and will be a success working with Teresa May who he met today. They had a positive press conference today. I think Mrs May gave him a masterclass in politics in his office as Trump spoke with more tact to the press.

I think Trump and May will be a successful dream team as they both want Brexit to be more of a success than it is today. (Even local MP, Corbyn, is forcing his MPs to vote for it in the Commons). And they both want the USA to boom and shine across the world. The UK and USA stock exchanges are at record heights thanks to these two. Pension funds are getting richer.

Sit back and watch these two transform the world for the better. They will also knock the Left into the fringes. Rock on!

I grew up in rural Australia, areas forgotten by politicians. The BBC's Reggie Watts has covered the Ice epidemic sweeping the country. There are many similarities in both countries, unfortunately we don't always get to meet the Liberal Americans who feel just as we do in Haringey, though the good news is I'm yet to meet an American who isn't friendly at least. I clearly don't agree with your sentiments of optimism for the new administration.

Trump plays an act and is removed from the Rust Belt suffering similar unemployment and disillusionment. Theresa May looked uncomfortable, and I felt uncomfortable with her obvious unease at meeting Trump at odds with her diplomacy. So I wouldn't count on an easy relationship with the USA. Remember Trump did not win the popular vote by 3 million votes, so more people are actually against his approach than for. California are vyeing for independence, America needs to feel relevant to each other right now, Trump will only court polarity, playing for sound bites.

My family played their part in the Australian equivalent of Wade versus Roe, would you advocate Trump overturning women's right to choice as well? Just to qualify how far your willing do follow this man who proclaims values but exhibits none. On that basis regardless of politics I wouldn't vote for such a man, he only courts contempt.
I'm still with Murray, Tennis is a tough game and he's achieved a great deal, he reminds me of McEnroe, he'll bounce back.
