Visited Tesco's at Edmonton yesterday
And wiped trolley Handle with several wipes ( which I had taken with me ) . Could not believe how dirty the handle was
Would have thought as a contact point that Supermarkets would get there trolley's cleaned on a regular basis
Also noticed many price labels missing. On checking receipt notice that several times had increased
Only shortage was Bath Wash Liquid
Another joke was distancing, yes reducing number in store . But many was Lottering around products or having length phone calls while standing close to products
Also noticed trolley's in other supermarkets, was not that clean

I doubt that wiping trolleys would be effective. You could push it by holding the sides instead of the bar and/or wear gloves. Your point is well taken though. It is no wonder the virus is spreading so easily in such a filthy environment.
When people are shopping they should take a list of what they want, write it down in sections by what aisle the items are in, and then go and buy them. There's too much dithering going on. One bloke is spending ten minutes studying all the jars of pasta sauce and meanwhile I want to go down there and get one for myself that's on my list and people are outside waiting for us to finish.
