Shine on the lane
Has anyone ever popped into shine turnpike lane? Its a cafe for people in recovery (drugs and alcohol) also mental health. Its funded by blenhan who work with st mungos homelessness charity. HRS Haringey recovery service and bubic. Lots goes on in there but its mainly ART based. Decent coffee. Go support the cause everyone. Its a kool place. Haringey has a great drugs and alcohol service. Second only to camden. These people saved my life.

Yes, Coffee and Computers group met there for a while, Kevin is very welcoming. I walked past the other day and saw the new layout with coffee bar as well as the usual display of art.

Hi Keats. Wonderful to hear of the help you received and very glad you are recovering. In these times we need resources like Shine to help people and think they do a fantastic job!

Sarah hart at Haringey council. She fights like a dog to get to get the "two shillings" for the great recovery services like HRS. BUBIC. HAGA ect. She really does genuinely care. St mungoes/blenham great too. This country would sink without charities and volunteers.
