Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The 'worst hotel in London' was just added for sale on zoopla. 33 rooms, development potential, asking £8.5

With a price like that you'd probably have to wait a year or so before getting the loft done.

A decent pub there restored well with decent food might prompt a reinvigoration of that part of Wightman.

It’s been on the market for months. Residential lettings would be a much better investment for the prospective buyer...

I don’t take notice of reviews on Trip Advisor any more, but I had to check out the Shelton, and oh my goodness, it’s a goldmine of one star fury.

There’s the photo of the full English featuring 2 slices of almost toast, beans and a single dehydrated sausage. A guest who booked a ground floor room months in advance for a disabled child, given a top floor room meaning they had to carry their son up the stairs to an unheated room.

Can anyone explain what is the legal status of the strange bar they have at basement level ('Samuki'), which doesn't even have a window but just a shutter that opens up on the Burgoyne road side.

There have been a number of laws on energy efficiency in recent years - is it really possible to create an indoor bar without giving it an actual closing window?

I have been wondering about that too. They are appealing to against council objections to set up a shisha bar. I hope this is unsuccessful. But they seem to be doing it anyway without permission. The sooner the place is sold off the better
