The Haringey Indy has reported the following:

Woman critical after hit-and-run at Manor House

Police are hunting for a hit-and-run van driver which left a woman in critical condition in hospital.

The 37-year-old woman suffered head injuries when hit by a flat-bed van in Seven Sisters Road, outside one of the entrances to Manor House tube station.

Pedestrians who witnessed the crash, just before 9pm on Monday evening, rushed to help the woman.

But the driver of the van carried on, stopping at the traffic lights before turning up Green Lanes towards Wood Green.

Police investigating have appealed for information, and said they believe the van may have damage to its wing mirror.

The injured woman was rushed to hospital as police cordoned off the road. She is in a stable but critical condition.
