selling gold ring

Any recommendations for doing this? is a jeweller or a pawnbroker best? Thanks - whatever I get for the ring will go to charity.

It’s a long story, but 20 or 30 years ago me and my former partner had a big lump of Anerican turquoise to sell. We took it to the jewellers in Hatton Garden and ended up getting a couple of really good offers. If I had a bit of gold to sell, that would certainly be on my list. Whatever you do get a number of quotes. As I’m sure you’re aware, gold is amazingly expensive these days.
