Seeking Japanese conversation partner

Hello/konnichiwa,

I'm looking to (re)start Japanese conversation lessons with a native speaker. I speak decent Japanese but it's been a while, so I'd like to start practising again.

Ideally we'd meet for an hour or so each weekend, somewhere in the area, for a couple of months at least. I'm willing to travel a bit further if anyone here knows of someone who lives in a neighbouring borough. I'd consider Zoom too, or week nights if better.

No prep whatsoever would be required: we'd just meet and chat about whatever's on our mind that day. And I would pay :)

Lovely to see another Japanese speaker. I lived in Japan and have taught Japanese in London. I know you want a native speaker so I am not touting for work here. I have an excellent Japanese teacher I can recommend if you want. Since Covid our lessons have been on Zoom. We cover all sorts but mainly conversation.
I have been to Japanese meet ups in town but not found them to be very useful - the level is usually too high or too low and there are too many people to have a decent conversation.
