Hello,
I am considering handing in my notice at my current job and looking for other employment due to personal circumstances - I am doing a postgrad dissertation and my current role is too demanding mentally (as I am in a managerial position and working ridiculous hours). I am looking for administrative/secretarial/childcare/retail work and although I am signing up to temping agencies etc I thought it would be a good idea to see what's going in the local area. I want full time hours but am flexible in regards to shifts.
Please message me if you know of anything. Thanks.

Have you thought or sought advice about:
1) asking for a sabatical at work or negotiate a job share?
2) looking at part time jobs in a sector related to where you work now? You could be considered overqualified and may find difficult (not impossible) to find jobs as the ones you suggested.
3) asking if you could do paid visiting lecturing at your university?
Good luck.
There is no such thing as over-qualified. Technically if there were EVERYONE would be over qualified. It is a bullshit excuse used by employers when they reject someone on other grounds.
