Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Looking forward to another cold winter, am thinking of getting secondary glazing for my sash windows.

Does anyone have:

  • Recommendations for tradesmen?
  • A guide on how much it could cost for a bay window?

Thanks

James

Thanks for this - we draught-proofed last year, but feels like the chill has already descended. Will look into Mighton.

We opted for a woodburner and haven't looked back.  From having a really cold living room in the winter it is now nice and warm with minimum effort and because of the old sashes we didnt need to put vents in :)

You could try Selectaglaze. I've used them at work.

Thanks - will check them out

I can highly recommend Barnet Window Company. They're a great local family business. If you call Tommy he will give you good advice Tel 0208 449 4747. They replaced our windows, but I note that they also do secondary glazing.

Thanks Justine. Have booked them in!

How did you get on James? I've just put up a question about this, but should have checked first to see if anyone else had also posted.

Meeting Tommy from Barnet Window Company today. Very impressed y recommendations of their work, so hopefully there's a competitive quote. No other progress. Will let you know of other options when I have time to search
