They describe what they do as taking

official Government-backed information about state schools in England and try(ing) to tease out something interesting from the dry tables of statistics. Our aim is to show what each school feels like. Are the kids happy there? Is the teaching good? If you were thinking of sending your child to this school, what would the parents there tell you about it?

Plenty of members will have a better idea than I of how accurate is the picture they offer of our local schools.

Had a look. Its pretty slim on anything. uses a formula and says exactly the same thing about each school with elements of a similar profile. Much better off reading actual ofsted report than reading this digested nonsense and talking to parents and visiting schools.

Agree with Liza, is just ofsted digested down to a couple of sentences. I guess if you were doing a very wide trawl of schools it might be helpful in narrowing things down but beyond that ..
