My son has sensory processing issues and problems with fine and gross motor skills. He has just finished year 7 which was his first year of the dreaded school uniform and I spent days last summer sewing in velcro, making other adaptations to his uniform and trying to find shoes that were acceptable to the school but were velcro fastening, could fit his specially made orthotic insoles and correctly support his feet (he was born with Talipes in both feet).
So I am very interested to see Marks and Spencer are launching a range of school uniform clothes called 'Easier Dressing'. You can sign up to be notified of when it launches, which at the beginning of August.

I'm hoping this will help my son and others that struggle with fiddly fastenings on school uniform.
