In light of Bruni&Sarkozy's (alleged) extra-Elysee parallel amours, which I thought Paris would normally take in its stride, can all you dream couples across Haringey's wards try a little harder to bring just a whiff of jennesayquoh into the dull lives of your electors? Nothing scandalous, of course - just the occasional soupcon or frisson of suspicion. Just to keep your voters interested for the next eight weeks. Rest assured the local webzines would love it.

If this is another subtle attempt to find out if Harringay Swingers is a real organisation I must strongly and vehemently deny their existence and say that if they did exist they would be very cross party.

I take your vehement denials at your word, John, but if Harringay Swingers have really gone into administration perhaps HOL Admin should be into Harringay Swingers. They do claim their duty is to add spice to these elections, so I think they owe it to the stressed-out candidates and to us the long-suffering electorate. Yes, cross party is good.

Don't deny the Harringay Swingers club. We all know members have been leaving in a huff for new opportunities. They just can't help themselves.
