Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Salisbury Road on the break - in list again.
There seems to be some organised attempted burglary activity down Salisbury Rd, must have given up on trying the Gardens. They slip the Yale type rim lock or put their hand or piece of wire etc. through the letterbox and turn the rim lock or pull down the handle engaging the locking system. Very smooth operation has done a few properties in the last couple of weeks. Hope everyone is now locking their Mortice locks.

Sounds like what happened to my neighbours a few weeks ago. Very smooth as you say, they barely noticed anything had happened.

You might be better off just leaving the front door wide open. I've done it a couple of times and someone even came in and stacked the dishwasher once*.

Folk should block off their door letterbox & attach a sturdy metal letterbox to wall outside their door ... no/yes?
