RUTLAND GARDENS ASSAULT?
The alleyway behind Green Lanes on Rutland Gardens was cordoned off today with a police presence and forensics van there until about 3pm. There have been conflicting reports - does anybody know what happened?

Police press office:
A cordon was put in place in Rutland Gardens on 12 April in response to
information received alleging that an incident had taken place there.
It transpired that the information provided was inaccurate.
Please be assured that if there were a need to release information to
the community for public safety reasons, we would do so.
