Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Found this pretty lil' thing on my rosemary today. On googling it discover (of course) it's a pest and is responsible for the generally ragged look of the plant. So watch out any of you who are fond of rosemary, lavender, sage or thyme.

Advice is either pesticides or picking them off and squish them (am hoping the latter enough). Look out for larvae too (I couldn't see any but they have dark stripes and are a dirty white colour).

Pick and kill!!!

They are a pest, we saved our big rosemary from this nice looking evil just in time.
There are no predators for such insects and if they spread around it will be difficult to control.
Ha ha it's a little bit too late. They are now endemic country-wide.
It would be the equivalent of ridding the country of mosquitoes. I think they are one of our most beautiful pests and a serious problem. I'm afraid we are simply going to have to live with. I counted 10 per metre when i was camping at riverford farm organics in devon last week.
