Try Leonard McCaul and Sons. they are based in Cricklewood though.

I found them to be very honest and reliable.

I went with Ashmark roofing after my roof sprung a leak recently. They showed up as promised for diagnosis & repair. Quick and efficient.  Cost matched the estimate, price was reasonable (still a lot of money) compared to others and the work comes with insurance backed warranty on the repair.  They also fixed another minor problem while they were up there (free of charge and without mentioning it another roofer wanted £180 for that as part of a quote for the same repair).

Highly ranked as a 'trusted trader' on Which local (where I got them off in the first place).

So far, the repair has held through the bad weather recently.

That said, for my next bit of work, I'll also be getting a quote from http://www.horncastleroofing.co.uk/ which was recommended on HoL by some.

Both are local (N21 and N15, respectively)

My roof problem is well fixed. Alan has just come today and fixed my slipped/broken roof tiles. It was BankHol Monday 31/8/15 which suited us both AND raining. Luckily the rain was mild and my problem was the edge of my roof so no slippery walking around needed. He explained the fault and fix very well. His charge was extremely good - will only say below £60 - and I cannot recommend him highly enough, He's VERY good and trustworthy bloke 07941 880576.

Hi there,  thanks for posting update.  We did get Ashmark Roofing around but their quote for the work was considerably high.  We also called Paul Tubbs from Roofs Limited who gave us a very reasonable quote and was a nice chap.  We haven't got the work done yet as we needed a few dry days so I can't comment on his work.  Still need to get the leak in the kitchen and damp done when the weather clears up.

I recently used Compton Roofing based in N4 and they were very good. Had a leak in my kitchen. Two other roofers told me it needed major repair. Len Compton said the gutters were blocked. He was right. Got gutter cleaned and leak stopped. Saved me hundreds of quid.
