Hi
Does anyone know of local restaurants that are open now, i.e with outside seating?. Or pubs that do ok food with beer gardens? And pref with heating if weather continues like this. I have a celebration coming up before May 17th. And Italian is my favourite but anything possible. I’m looking for somewhere with a garden or terrace , not just eating on the pavement alongside a busy road. Sorry if this sounds really fussy.
Thanks
Richard

Great Northern Railway Tavern has a nice beer garden out the back with little chalets you can book. I suspect it will be busy but it's worth a shot. In my experience it's a) expensive and b) not best quality - however the decor is really nice and food acceptable (if rather heftily priced).
I was just there on Monday and had a good lunch - not world-beating, but decent enough pub food. Really nice beer selection too. Think it might be under new management, but that might not be very recent as I hadn't been in years. Have a look on their website - they have menus for food & beer.
Booking was easy - managed to (just about) get a table same-day on first day of opening.
Ferry Boat Inn in E17, just over the Haringey/Waltham Forest border. Nice seating area outside in the garden at the back. Heating too.
Just searched...it's still N17 but literally on the border.
Osteria Tufo on Fonthill Road, Finsbury Park is fantastic and they have a terrace http://osteriatufo.co.uk/
Agree with osteria tufo for excellent food and great northern for a good pub option. Also Victoria Stakes for a bit higher end pub and the yard has cover.
