Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Residents in nearby South Tottenham are stepping up their campaign against freight trains transporting nuclear waste past their homes at all hours of the night.

A stall will be set up at Harringay railway station, off Green Lanes, Harringay, from 11am-1pm, on Saturday to protest against the "dangerous" loads being transported on the London Overground line.

Jim Cassins, chairman of the South Tottenham Residents' Association, said in a letter to rail bosses: "We feel that the line upgrade and subsequent increase in traffic volume has been brought about without due consideration to the residents and we respectfully urge you to look into this matter with a view to having heavy freight traffic moved to a more appropriate line."

Thanks for this. Does anyone have a contact for the South Tottenham Residents Association or Jim Cassins? I'd like to get in contact with them but can't seem to find any details on the internet.
Try via Haringey Federation of Residents' Associations.
