Repairing chairs
We got lovely, new dining table and chairs about 10 years ago. But, it doesn't seem like we've looked after the chairs. The protective varnish looks like it's come off. The wood is sticky and dust is stuck to them. I always wiped them if they were dirty but that was about it. Can anyone suggest something, please? They look awful.

It sounds like you might need to sand them down and re-varnish. If they have padded seats, these are usually removable, and you can then reach all the hard to get to bits.
Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!
