Dear lovely neighbours friends + family,
I recall a post some time last year regarding the removal of old phone boxes in Haringey borough. Have we had any updates on this case? We have a phone box in front of our premises which is being used for drugs, thefts, sexual activites etc. Wa want the removal of this especially being in between three bookies and casinos it does attract ASBO. We've been in touch with BT on numerous ocassions and they have also confirmed the phone has not been in use for a year or so. However they were not interested in getting this removed and asked us to get i touch with the council.
Thankyou and have a lovely week lovely humans x

Onic, see the pages linked with the tags I've added. There was a consultation, but I can't see any outcome. There is now a page to report a problem box.
I wouldn't leave it at a submitted report, Contact Harringay Ward Councillor Anna Abela. She seems pretty responsive.
I've also just spoken to Ian Sygrave (LCSP) who tells me that Haringey have made the decision to get rid of the boxes. However, things being as things are, the time lag between decision and action is often longer that we'd all like. So, I'd still report it every which way you can in the hope of spurring action. It sounds like any report will fall on a sympathetic ear.
If BT are no longer interested in it then perhaps a paint job and a some guerrilla gardening to make it a feature.
And that door looks loose and dangerous to me - it could accidentally fall off any moment and potentially hurt someone...
