Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A reminder that the council's Ladder Traffic and Transport Review commonplace map closes this Sunday, 21st March:

https://harringayladder.commonplace.is

Don't forget to get your comments in.

In the introduction on that website the Council refers specifically to:-

· the 2017 Green Lanes Transport Study (the main results of which you may recall were the permanent closure of Warwick Gardens and the changes on Wightman Rd moving parking off the pavement and adding the contortions that have actually made it more dangerous) and

· what impacts there might be from the proposed Low Traffic Neighbourhood for St Ann’s.

However they also go on to say that this new Review needs to take into account “current traffic conditions and the concerns from the community to arrive at a list of future actions needed to tackle traffic problems and increase rates of walking and cycling in this area of the Borough”.

So the scope is wide. Please, unless you have already done this, access the commonplace map and make your comments, give thumbs up to other comments you find there which you agree with and include in your comments, if you agree, a demand that action is needed urgently.

Well done for reminding - I was about to do the same thing! Just to add, if you have already reviewed the comments and want to see the latest ones - or would rather read the comments as a list than clicking on the map (which can be difficult to remember which comments you've seen). then click on the 'menu' at the top right -> all comments. They are then listed by the most recently added. If the "thumbs up" icon is purple you haven't endorsed it, if you already have it turns yellow. In both instances you can see how many other people agree with the comment.
