Thirded. He did a couple of jobs for me including a gutter cleaning service. Charges by the meter for gutters. He's very nice bloke and was very reliable for me.
Also runs a proper Ltd company, charges VAT and has staff on in full time employment contracts. Believe me, this not the norm.

I asked him for a quote for some flashing and he came round and told us that there were all sorts of things wrong with our roof that needed fixing (that no one else who I'd asked for quotes had brought up) and then was very keen to tell us that there was no way we would be able to extend into the roof because it wasn't high enough. This is despite the fact that there are currently 3 or 4 houses on our road doing just that. He then emailed the quote to my husband even though I had been the one to contact him and we hadn't given him an email address.
