Recommended - Mleczko Deli / Supermarket, Wood Green

Hi all,

We have a wealth of good little shops and supermarkets around. During lockdown I've tried to explore some new places and new foods.

Situated just opposite Blue House Yard, in Wood Green, I can recommend the above place.

I'm not a vegan, but close to one, I like this place as it does very reasonable vegan dumplings, sliced goji berry bread and many nice looking traditional country breads, lots of tasty pickled regional salads and marinated peppers of different types.

There's a real range of choices compared to what you usually see. My favourites in lockdown for trying new things have been Dayi, Buy 2 Save but most definitely this place.

Haven't mentioned that they have at least 10 beers I've not seen anywhere else, lots of pickled fish and soups - and also run a loyalty card scheme.

If you want to try many new things for a change and not spend much at all, try it out...
