Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi there,

I'm looking to get a new bathroom fitted - including wall and floor tiling, plumbing in the new bath, toilet, sink unit and towel rail (to replace existing radiator).  We may also need some plastering done (not sure if necessary if tiling, but probably) and we need to get a new light fitting wired in.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a tradesperson that can do all these things, or for individual parts of the job (especially plastering and electrics).

Also, if anyone knows a good place to pick up a reasonably priced, sturdy but not fancy bathroom suite locally that would be good to know.

Thanks!

Lucy

Decoracus are currently fitting our bathroom and we've been impressed so far. Speak to Shemek, contact details are on their website.

We bought a mid range suite from THL on Hornsey High Street, but they cover all price levels. I've found James to be the best person to liaise with.

We have had Zeko Building Services do a lot of work, including a bathroom, and have found their work to be of a very high standard. Speak to Voytek (07748 724283), who would, I'm sure, be happy to visit to give a quote.

Re. the suite, we got all our fittings online from QS supplies (http://www.qssupplies.co.uk/). Its where the trades get fittings from, and saves a fortune. We found the very same towel rail that we got from QS supplies at John Lewis for £180 more. Delivery is free for larger orders too.

Charlie of CAJ plumbing 07710043110 did ours, great job, v professional and good value.
We also used THL and found them v helpful.

We used Mark Havelock (07928 516575). He's a plumber and bathroom specialist and he did an amazing bathroom for us. He's a perfectionist at tiling. For any plastering or electric work, he has mates to do that who are very good.

I bought a bathroom suite etc from www.aandrplumbing.net which is a shop in Enfield. They have all the bathroom brochures so can get anything you want plus tiles. I found it better for me to buy my bathroom stuff from a shop rather than online as if you change your mind on something, you can easily exchange.

Thanks all - will give them a go - I'm sure one of those will fit the bill...

...try a chap called Les just finished work for us   07980 920310

Hello,
I use Chris Williams, his work is outstanding, he fitted a new bathroom for me including bath, shower, flooring, plastering, tiling, ceiling rose, you name it he can do it. He gives free quote and is local, his number is 07753269667.

I resently had my house valued and the estate agent was blown away by the bathroom.

Good luck!!
Ps he know lots of suppliers and will help you find anything to suit your budget..

I'd recommend Screwfix for the suite. They have a branch in South Tottenham.
