We're looking to replace cheap internal doors with something more solid and attractive.
There are so many suppliers available - can anyone recommend a company which has good quality doors and come close in appearance to the original 4 panel Victorian doors?

Hi Nick.
We have a spare Victorian door that we took out when renovating our place.
If it helps you can have it? Needs a bit of sanding and a repaint.
The dimensions are: 200cm (H) 80.5cm (W) 4.5cm (D)
Thanks Matt
Bought six of these from Todd's Doors in Palmers Green
Then treated with - https://osmouk.com/product/door-oil-retail/
Thanks Matt, but will pass as we are looking for 4 doors.
Appreciate the recommendation Bulent.
Hi Nick, my names Kevin and I'm a carpenter with 41 years' experience. Try Homebase, B&Q or Magnet for 4 panel internal Victorian solid pine doors. These doors are probably "engineered" meaning they are made from several pieces of wood with a pine veneer top. You could pay £400 - £500 for a completely solid pine door custom made. You can get the panels with or without a moulding/beading around the panel. Or, try Googling: "Victorian 4 Panel Pine Doors. Ring me if you want me to hang them: Kevin 07368 430574
Hey, a couple of things: if you want round door knobs then the backset on the tubular latch should be much longer than the standard 45mm (the backset is the distance from the edge of the latch to the spindle hole). Otherwise when you turn the knob from the door stop side your knuckles will hit the door stop. This is a common mistake that carpenters and builders make. If the door knobs are round, then the tubular latch should be fitted in the middle of the mid rail (which of course is not in the middle of the door) otherwise the round plate will be off the stile and look awful. Nice doors with a moulding on the panels!
