Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Rats in playground Finsbury Park
Could anyone help with who you need to contact to clear up the rat issue in Finsbury Park playground? Someone who will pay attention and get it sorted swiftly..
I wish I had taken pictures but our 10 month old son and similar aged friends were using the swings with 2 rats trying to run underneath them, we had to keep shooing them away. I wouldn't want to put my baby into the sandpit or on the ground there.
As summer comes it's only going to get worse.

Oh, I didn't know about this. Well I've filled in the form and I've written to the counsellor so let's see what comes back.

We also complained about this. We saw two rats there a while ago. It is disgusting that there is still a problem there when it should be such a nice area for children to play and is putting their safety at risk. Please do let us know how you get on.

I sent a form in too....figured two complaints would be better than one. Was there today and didn't see any (thank goodness). But after what you'd said I was thinking I should hose the boy down when we got home...as it turned he wiped out into a muddy puddle so I had the perfect excuse.

Oh gosh, thats super scary. Well I never read the book by Stephen King but perhaps we're under attack sooner than we thought!

I have raised this with our parks department and will work with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
