Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Raleigh Road - Garden Bonfire Nuisance

Someone on Raleigh Road, around street number 33-39, has had a backyard fire two days in a row, yesterday afternoon and now. The smoke and ash comes directly on our backyard, we were both coughing within 5 minutes of it and it forced us to come back inside and keep our windows closed.

Please be considerate and stop lighting these fires.

Haringey should have Enforcement Officers on Call

They can gain entry to All properties if Offences are being comitted

We've had a similar situation with neighbours frequently lighting BBQs with industrial wood and petrol. I spoke to an enforcement manager and as there's other issues they wrote a letter. Sadly, not much changed since. It's a grey area and not an easy battle. Lack of staff in enforcement and culture of doing nothing in Haringey IMO.

That's a shame - the situation is ongoing here, they have a fire going right now again and pretty much everytime the weather is good, which means we can't use our backyard at all.
