HI HoL

Has anyone had damp coming in from a blocked rainwater drain ? If so what did you do to remedy?

Hi we had this and the damp came right through the other side. We go a roofer to clear the blockage. It's a very simple thing to sort out. It cost us £120.

If you have access to a ladder, its usually a blockage at an inside corner of the roof. Common culprit is a tennis ball or similar which can completely block the downpipe. Worth checking that the overflow from a loft tank or wc is not spilling down an exterior wall. Surprisingly, it often goes unnoticed.
