Race for Life Finsbury Park, 25th July
Race for Life is Cancer Research UK's flagship event, with over 230 events taking place across the UK. Read our story so far and find out how women coming together across the UK to walk, jog or run 5k is helping to beat cancer.
In just over a month, 2000 runners will be turning Finsbury Park pink at the local Race for Life. Racers can run, jog or walk the route, and runners in search of a bigger challenge can take the 10k challenge instead, on Saturday 24 July.

The weekend event will include both 10k (Saturday) and 5k (Sunday) races and activities for all the family. Friends and family are also very welcome to come along and support the runners.
If you're not running but would like to volunteer as a race marshall or to help setting up and running the event, see this page. The Finsbury Park event alone hopes to raise over £220,000 for Cancer Research UK over the course of the weekend.
Entry costs £12.99 per person. Saturday's race starts at 9.30am, and Sunday's starts at 10.30am - runners are advised to arrive one hour before race start time.
