Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Quick question....

When you get a quote from a decorator do you accept it or try and bargin? Something I couldn't decide on after discussion with friend.

Always get more than one quote and then make a decision based on how realistic you think it is, references re the decorator, price, specification of work to be done and estimated length of time for completion. Hope this helps.

I usually laugh at them when I receive them. I was quoted £900 over 10 years ago to strip the wallpaper, the line and paint one room, the quote only covered labour. In the end I got a good job done for literally one third of the price.
