Did you use Raj in the end? We have a uPVC window that needs repairing and am looking for recommendations.

No one yet... Seems like places either don't do it or charge about £2k for a bespoke one... So we're a bit stuck...

How frustrating! Like you, we don't want an entire new window, we just want the seal replaced.

Hi Sorry - never saw this response come in! Yep we used him and he was very helpful! He's even been super helpful with helping via phone where it's an easy fix that I can just buy the part for and ask for advice. Currently replacing the handles, and locks in doors... never would've thought I could do it, but he just advised on what I needed and how to do it - and I'm giving it a go - as he said he'd have to charge call out, parts, etc so to try myself first, and if I struggle he'd be able to come and do it!

Try a small but friendly and apparently efficent company I used up in Edmonton when I was doing up a rental property. I used them for a upvc window, but they also do doors.

Needed help fixing the lock on a uPVC bathroom window recently. I tried Gee and Bee Windows too. Took a while to contact them, but when I did, they sent someone out within half an hour and fixed the problem. Really good company, will readily recommend them for similar work.

I ended up using Raj who someone else responded with previously... was v helpful in person and also via phone for advice too. I called about 10 places and no one would come out as the doors are v old... the classic 'You need a whole new conservatory' was thrown around a fair bit - but Raj came and did a quick fix.
