Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Pub in Wood Green
I lived in WG for 20 years & contributed to the local economy by visiting all the pubs ! I was looking through my 1990 diary & saw a reference to a rendezvous at "The Boar". I do not recollect anything about this establishment ( memory loss not alcohol-related ! ) Can anyone solve the mystery ?
I enjoyed Wood Green & Alexandra Palace & Park.

A web search reveals that the Boar opened in 1986 as one of the early J.D. Wetherspoon pub ventures. It was renamed The New Moon in 1992, under which name it still operates. Just to the east of the crossroads with Downhills Way, it's probably more Tottenham than Wood Green.
