No Lord Mayor's Fireworks this year!
It's difficult to believe that there aren't some smaller public events organised by community organisations. Know of any?

Thats a kind offer, i was thinking a park or something...but i do like a good bonfire. Where do you live, and is your offer to everyone on HoL?
You will need to think about public safety here. They are explosives. We had one of our most serious RTAs last year from a rouge firework and the news today featured a child with serious burns from a similar incident.
Thanks Shanei - can't see anything on quick Google . Last year they seemed to have held then on Sat 4th. So if they're on this year, tonight would most likely be the night.
Unless of course, anyone knows different..........
I should have really read this thread properly before decamping family, woolies and provisions to arrive at Bounds Green Scout Hut a whole week early!
