I'm aware that this post might be a lost cause (the sun is shining, there's chocolate waiting to be eaten, and here I am asking whether anyone might be willing to participate in a psychology experiment...). But, on the off chance that anyone does have ten minutes to spare, I'd be hugely grateful if you could complete my survey.
The experiment is part of my Master's research project on how seemingly incidental factors can affect language processing. It involves reading a list of words, completing a few mental arithmetic questions, then trying to recall the list of words.
If you speak English as your first language and might be interested in participating, despite my very uninspiring description, please click one of the links below. If there's something you want to know more about, or if you're just interested in the subject area, I'd be very happy to answer any questions
Thanks!
Josephine

Thanks a million Do you still need participants for your experiment? Let me know if I can help!
Could it be that Josephine doesn't really believe in the subject she's opted to study, or in the experiments she's doomed to carry out to fill those central chapters in her dissertation with convincing-looking tables and bar charts?
I just know that Vicky the Brickie down our street seems much happier in her work - she'll be a Master Builder one of these days.
I did this, earlier when I was sober, and afterwards was surprised at how NLP (which I thought was discredited) the assumptions that you were testing were like. For instance in NLP where your eyes look supposedly reflects how you are thinking, remembering vs. visualising for instance. Derren Brown uses it a lot. A shame you have trouble getting people to do the survey, much more fun than reading the news.
Cheers, John! I don't know anything about NLP -- although, from what you're saying, I can see why you might make the connection. If you'd be interested in the underlying theory (thankfully not discredited!), let me know
Thanks to everyone who's participated so far; I'm extremely grateful
