Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I received this, purporting to come from BT.

The English is a bit odd,

Dear Customer,

We're very excited to bring you some of the biggest news in broadband for quite some time. We're switching your BT Account to BT broadband to protect your contact list and your folders.

The changed. Click below to switch Now.

I suspect if I " clicked below " something bad would happen.

I'll ask BT about it.

Hello Mr John. This is your bank. Plees gife me you very important security details.

Zip files are the most dodgy, they can hide baddies apparently. Never open zip files unless you know who they are from.

these usually end up in my spam inbox without me even noticing. along with all the other ones from Barclays, NatWest, HSBC, the Post Office, etc etc.

EDIT: as I was writing this the following landed in my spam inbox:

3.Not logging off after online  banking usage.
4.Not using your online banking for  3 days

Due to this an account update has  been issued to rectify the
problem.

Santander  Bank

To be noted that I do not bank with Santander! But luckily Gmail is smarter than these rather shoddy scammers!

I wonder how some folk get their trousers/skirt on in the morning
