Predator Jailed

A violent paedophile and rapist was removed from our midst following a 28 year sentence passed on Gordon Robinson, a resident of Green Lanes, at Wood Green Crown Court following a 7 day trial which ended on Thurs, 20 Dec.

Whilst this is a cause for celebration, I would like to inject a cautionary note.

He appeared ordinary, to the point of boring, non threatening and eager to help out. I was taken in, as were most of my friends, who he introduced himself to.

Shortly before his arrest in June, he displayed ads for a carpet cleaning service in local shop windows, with no response (luckily).

Whilst he is off the scene for the foreseeable please, please, be careful about shop window ads when allowing strangers access to your homes.
