Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Pots and pans

I have some old pots and pans I need to get rid off. Does anyone know if it's possible to recycle them anywhere or do you just throw them out? Also old kitchen knives - where do you get rid of them?

Last time I had old pots and pans to "recycle" I just left them on my garden wall, and they were gone that day. The vans that trawl the streets looking for scrap metal will be very grateful for them. Obviously don't do that with the knives though! There are often amnesty bins for dumping knives which at least sees them disposed of safely
