News from Barking – Gospel Oak Line User Group:
Following the failure of Transport Secretary Justine to announce the Barking – Gospel Oak Line among the electrification schemes include... to Parliament on 16 July, Islington North and Walthamstow MPs Jeremy Corbyn & Stella Creasy have both contacted BGOLUG and said that they will jointly take the matter up with the Secretary of State when Parliament reconvenes.
London Assembly members Jennette Arnold and Caroline Pidgeon have also expressed their support for electrification of the line and ending the farcical situation where both the Transport Secretary and the London Mayor, Boris Johnson, both claim that the other is responsible for the line.
I wonder if either of our MPs will add their support?
