Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Police raid on Seymour Road this morning
Possibly related to the passage cordon and goings on on Wightman/Endymion...
I was rudely awoken by the sound of battering ram on wood around 7am as the multi-occupancy house next to the river passage was raided.
Initially efforts focused on one of the flats/bedsits in there (I don't think anyone is in at the time) but then spread to the gated yard next to the property - moving of sofas and a bed and the appearance of a moped from somewhere, which the police put a note on and pushed onto the road.
It has since been kicked over with some force and now the road is littered with debris and petrol - I have rung them about this.
Could be part of a co-ordinated raid?

I have been affected by the Wightman Road/Endymion Road cut off today. At first I thought that the 64 yr. old man who magically escaped from Pentonville Prison last night had legged it here. He's supposed to be dangerous!!! However, I was reassured by a policeman that it was nothing to do with that, it was an "incident". Roads at this end have been cut off for most of the day now.
