Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Police pepper spray and then shoot 5 abandoned dog

Hello all, my first post.

I am preparing a police complaint about a big fat white dog that the police pepper sprayed then shot 5 times in the Harringay Passage by Seymour Road in the early hours of last Thursday the 18th July.

The dog had ben left abandoned and tied to the railings there sometime on the night of Wednesday the 17th.

If any one witnessed the dog or the person seen standing with the dog for some time before leaving, or has any information about this event at all, please let me know.

If you require more information about this from me I will email you the outline of events as I understand them at the moment.

Why would they do such a thing if the dog was tied to something,It's not as it could harm anyone!

Just to be clear, the dog was still tied up when sprayed, but had been released / got free into the passage where the police confined it when it was shot.

A French Mastiff bitch was abandoned in the passage between Frobisher and Falkland a couple of summers ago. I wish I'd thought at the time to just untie her and say "home girl!".

I'd leave the Police alone over this one but for your mention of pepper spray. Are you really, really sure?

Was this at about 3 in the morning, involving a police van and a couple of police cars? I need to see if I can remember the date but a week or so ago we were woken up by the noise of what initially sounded like a shot and looked out our window to see a lot of police activity. Clearly something was going on in the passage but the next morning it was as though nothing had happened. Even the tape used to block the passage had been removed and tidied away (a first in my experience).

I didn't see the dog at any point I'm afraid.
