Police on Harringay Road

Just had Wood Green police come to my door. There was an attempted sexual assault around 11pm-12:00am in the Harringay Road/Park Road area. I noticed a number of squad cars attending at about 3:00am. The attacker is now in police custody. Good work Wood Green police! Make sure to stay safe and vigilant everyone!

Was it only an attempt? The police are still here and all roads are still blocked so it looks pretty serious.

Police came to our door and said the same. My husband spoke to the police officer this afternoon and he said he hoped the cordon would be cleared this evening. I hope the person is OK!

I hope so too! 

Police are still guarding the cordon. If the suspect is in police custody, why would they still be guarding the cordon round the clock? It seems a little bit bizarre!

I have just passed Park Road and the road is still tapped off with a police car still sitting in Park Road.
