Send us your poetry! As we approach Easter we are having a lyrical festival of all our frightful Covid feelings, especially on the twin themes of loss and hope. We need your contributions!
Years 5 and 6 at South Harringay School will be having a go, as will the local vicar. (I can't guarantee the quality of his verse.) Get entries to us by 31st March and we will print all of them in an Easter weekend poetry collection and make it available for free outside the church on Wightman Road, as well as putting a few of our favourites on the noticeboard.
As Christians we will be particularly reflecting on the loss that Jesus Christ endured, and the hope that he gives, but we welcome contributions from people of all faiths and viewpoints.
Please send any entries, however short, to vicar@stpaulsharringay.com. It's not a competition, it's a celebration - so don't be shy about sending something in!
