Firstly, i appologise for adding to the pile of 'i need a plumber' posts! I've contacted the ones i found out about looking through older posts, but no-one is available for a while.
I am actually good at changing taps and things, but this has had me in a pickle for 3 days (it's such an awkward spot under the bath i just can't undo the top hat washers!!)
The jobs i need doing are:
1. I need set of taps changed on my bath.
2. I need someone to install an antique sink.
I need someone ASAP but also, really competitively priced because my ambitious moment on ebay buying old taps and sinks for a few quids shows that i have basically no budget!
And yes, good old Charlie Rumens who everyone loves on here, is busy for the next 2 weeks which is a real shame, but just goes to show, he's popular! :)
THANKS FOR ANY HELP, especially if YOU reading this are a plumber that can help me! :)

I know this isn't an answer to your question but I noticed that you haven't had any replies. I am looking for a plumber to do the pipework - first fix - for a kitchen refurbishment with soldered copper joints for the new water pipes and new plastic waste water pipe. I have looked at the plumber postings but haven't seen anyone that has done any work of that sort. I wonder if you might update your question with who you found etc. If anyone reads this and has an answer please reply.
Sorry, i STILL haven't found anyone. Your job sounds easy for any general plumber, but i can't recommend anyone i'm afraid - that's why i posted my question! ;)
In my search for someone to do my kitchen I came across a plumber called Wendell 07958239064 who was more of a maintenance plumber that I think could easily do your taps. Is your antique sink a heavy butler type sink? I know that it's problematic to fit these because they were originally installed onto cast iron brackets that were embedded and built into the masonry. Those were smashed out when fitted kitchens were installed in the 1960s. Good luck finding someone. This lack of plumbers who know what they are doing is a real problem.
Have you tried the websites ratedpeople or find a tradesman. They might be able to offer someone local who has good recommendations and who has done the type of work you want done
We tried rated people but only got two texts, they promise three, both from the same firm who didn't even read the spec but wanted to rush round. They phoned back said they had read the spec and again wanted to rush round again. I asked for their email address so we could set out availability etc and I'm still waiting to hear. Trying "My Builder.com" now but still waiting for a response from someone who does more than odd jobs or boilers. I suspect that my builder" tradesmen will be expensive because of the membership fees they pay - I don't know how much they are though.
I can recommend Marek, local Polish speaking plumber with 20 years experience, whose speciality is refurbishment work and fault finding maintenance. He was supplied to us by a builder but we obtained his contact details so we can use him again. We used him for a job that a number of plumbers would not even consider and others offered ridiculous prices. He also has three years experience working in Germany. Only issue is that he does not speak English so contact etc needs to be through his sister in law Beth on 07563676422 (number seems to have poor signal) or by email marekbzymek@yahoo.co.uk. Suggest you set out by email what is required and if possible send photos.
