Play social chess locally

Would anybody be interested in playing chess socially?

I play chess every week in local pubs and wondered whether anybody else in the area might want to get involved. I moved on to the Ladder last year in between lockdowns and would be keen to meet more people nearby.

There’s a group of us that are in our mid-30s and play at beginner/intermediate level. We’ve tended to play after 7pm on Tuesdays/Wednesdays at pubs where we can grab a pint and something to eat. The location can be flexible: we’ve so far played near Alexandra Palace, Green Lanes, Caledonian Road, Finsbury Park, Highbury & Islington and once at Victoria Park.

Hi - Yes I'd like to come along. I live off Green Lanes on the other side of the ladder so any pub in the area suits me. I'm beginner/intermediate level and would love to have a regular group to play. I've added you as a contact so can message next time you're meeting.
