Platform Youth Hub, Hornsey Road

Platform is a new arts venue for young people. The former Hornsey Road Baths laundry has been transformed into a theatre, performance space, media suites, a recording studio, dance studio and a cafe.

It is a youth-led venue offering a wide range of creative activities, volunteering and training for young people. It is also somewhere safe young people can come for any information, advice and guidance they need.

Young people are actively involved in running every aspect of the building and project. There are Platform classes and activities from 4:30pm to 9pm Wednesday to Friday and all day Saturday exploring a variety of arts including theatre, dance, music and film.

Every week you are able to choose from a variety of workshops, performances, classes and events after school, in the evenings and on weekends.

There are also volunteering opportunities, leadership development and career-based training.

Friday evenings are for Inspire performances when professional artists and acts chosen by  young people will show their work. Aspire performances on Saturday evenings will be by the young people themselves.
