Pinewood Studios inspired bullion heist in Harringay this week

It seems likely that local burglars have been boning up with some Pinewood Studios classic crime capers in planning a bullion heist that took place on Green Lanes this week.

My sympathy to the owner, but one can't help a wry smile at the burglary carried out at Özcan Jewellery, between Harringay Green Lanes station and Umfreville Road in the early hours of Monday morning.

Burglars simply drilled through a brick wall and coolly walked off with £15,000 worth of stock, presumably in a bag marked "SWAG".
