Pets in the Park - Saturday 18th July

Just a reminder of the Pets in the Park event this Saturday in Clissold Park 11 until 3.

Fun dog show, vet advice and health checks for dogs, animal charities/rehoming, advice about free and low cost neutering for cats and dogs, behaviour advice for cats and dogs, family activities, competitions, dog agility course. Free admission.

You can enter your dog in the dog show

• 11.30am - 12noon: Golden oldie
• 12noon - 12.30pm: Prettiest lady
• 12.30pm - 1pm: Handsomest boy
• 1pm - 1.30pm: Dog rehoming parade
• 1.30pm - 2pm: Young handler
• 2pm - 2.30pm: Best rescue dog

You can get your dog microchipped for free at this event - remember microchipping a dog is going to be a legal requirement from April 2016.

Local animal charities will be there - so if you're thinking of giving a home to a cat or dog or other animal - it's a chance to get to know the local rescue places and they would love to meet you.
